Data Driven Enterprises has collected data to determine the effectiveness of informing the public about ocean water quality via telephone hotline, web page, newspaper, and beach signs.  Trained interviewers approached Orange County beachgoers and asked them about their awareness of, use of, and satisfaction with these four communication methods.  Data Driven Enterprises has also conducted a study to determine people’s satisfaction with the Orange County government’s food complaint process.  Callers of the hotline were contacted by phone and asked about their satisfaction with the process—the courtesy of the hotline receptionist; the professionalism of the hotline investigator; and the thoroughness, timeliness, and outcome of the investigation; and the overall ease of the hotline process.
